We took the kids to Gulf Shores last month. We had low expectations. We honestly were expecting more work...our kids in a new environment with no help is usually a recipe for trouble.
Happy to say we had a wonderful time. We spent mornings on the beach, afternoons at the pool, and ate yummy dinners. We hunted sand crabs in the late afternoon and ocean crabs in the evening. We went out for ice cream, rode go carts, and even got good time with our best friends, The Wolfes.
This was Clara's first trip to the beach and Hudson's 4th. They both loved it. Hudson and Will spent hours jumping waves. They even saw stingrays, a horseshoe crab, a red crab, a sea turtle, and huge red fish over the sandbar. Clara loved the waves too. They both loved digging holes and making sandcastles.
So grateful for the memories we made.
