Hudson's first boat ride

On  Saturday, our small group at church had a lake day.  We spent the first half of the day without Hudson.  I love the Huds, but it is always nice to have adult time.

My mom met us after his nap at a marina.  It was the little guy's first boat experience.  He loved saying, "boat" and "water."  He very much wanted to get in the water the entire time.  We had to keep a tight grip on him the entire time.

After our very long boating adventure, we went back to grill out some burgers.  Hudson went swimming for the first time this year.  I didn't get any pictures, but he LOVED the water.  He was a natural.  Glad we won't have any fears of swimming this year!

Our lake day made me excited about the summer ahead!  It will be our last couple of months as family of 3!
