My little guy is sick. High fever. Sore throat. He feels crummy. So, we are cooped up in the house for a few days in our semi-pajamas. He is rarely this calm. We've been able to play lots. Including....
Puzzles:
Blocks:
Shapes:
Basketball:
Movies:
Books:
Lots of juice breaks:
Much to my joy, he needs lots of Mommy attention:
And this all before 8:45. He is down for a morning nap now. Another very rare occasion.
On days like this, it is hard to remember to be thankful. We are so blessed. I am able to stay home with Hudson. He has a Mommy and Daddy who are meeting all his needs and helping him get better. We have access to medical treatment and medicine when we need it. We have food to eat and water and juice to drink...which all help in helping him feel better. Huds has sweet grandparents who keep calling to check in on him. He is so loved.
We are cooped up, but we are thankful for a house to be cooped up in. We are thankful for family to keep us company. God has richly blessed us.
